How do i join Alpha Phi Alpha at a school where i am a new student, far from home, and i know no one?

i did my first year At a HBCU where i was clueless to the greek organizations. Then i found out about BGLO's and did research. The BGLO that i would like to become a part of is Alpha Phi Alpha. My dilemma is that, i am transferring to a new college for the spring 2010 semester and i do not know any one. I still would like to join Alpha Phi Alpha but how do i go about it? What am i supposed to do to get started? some one please point me in the right direction and i will take care of the rest...
