Diego Sanchez said "It was his destiny" to beat BJ...What happened?

What happens when a fighter is sooo confident that he'll beat someone and then gets totally dominated by the person. I mean Diego was beyond confident b4 the fight. He was on a whole nother level of confidence. Extreme confidence then extreme loss. Has Diego even had a post fight interview since the loss or did he fall off the face of the earth like Forrest did after the embarring loss to Anderson. At least Forrest knew it wasn't a good fight for hin b4 the fight happened tho.
