Another Religion in School Question?

Whenever I ask a question about religion in public school, a Christian will invariable ask "What about my rights as a Christian?" Meaning, if we leave issues of religion out of public schools (not issues of learning ABOUT religion, but issues of school-led prayer or such) that the rights of the Christian are somehow being compromised. Is this true? How is the exclusion of something for the fairness of all somehow infringing on the rights of one sect? If we can't have Christian prayer in public school, then we can't have any prayer in public school. How is this infringing on anyone's rights? I'm having a very hard time understanding this, but Christians will bring it up like clockwork. What am I missing?
