How do I connect a TV in a bedroom with no TV socket?

OK, so I have a small TV that I want to set up in my daughters room however, there is no TV socket in her bedroom. Only one in the living room downstairs. What would be the best way to set this up for her? Do I need a TV socket? Can I get a small ariel to sit on the TV? Can I set up a freeview box to that ariel? I don't have much money so I don't want to call out an engineer or anything like that. Thanks!
